Register now for Sneem JFK Challenge
Online registration is now open for the 2017 Sneem JFK 50 Mile Challenge which takes place in Sneem on the weekend of the 20th and 21st May 2017. The Challenge is to complete 50 miles (80km) in under 20 hours. There is also a 26 mile and 15 mile walk option. This year, the Challenge is open to runners as well as walkers. Sneem hosts World Falconry Day 2016 Celebrations
The community of Sneem was delighted to welcome from Sunday 13thto Thursday 17th November, falconers from up to 60 counties across the globe.
Gold medal for Sneem in Tidy Towns Competition 2016
Sneem was delighted to be a gold medal winner in the 2016 Tidy Towns, scoring 322 marks, up from 317 in 2015 and only 4 points behind Birdhill, the winner of Ireland’s Tidiest Village category. See what the judges said about Sneem in the Adjudication Report. Sneem won the overall Tidy Towns Award in 1987, so maybe 2017 will be our year?
