This issue featured Sneem Bridge on the front cover which was closed for repairs. There are reports from both local schools, Sneem Digital Hub, Blackwater News and local news. A proposal is put forward for Sneem to become an Autism Friendly Village.

The March issue of the Sneem Community Notice Board celebrates the vaccination of half the village for Covid 19. There are reports from Sneem Gardeners, Sneem and Tahilla National Schools, and an appeal for rental accommodation from Sneem Digital Hub.

Our first issue of 2021 features photos of locals sea swimming during the current level 5 lockdown. Our pre-lockdown Outdoor Christmas market is featured, there’s a report from Tahilla CNS and some pollinator information.

The December issue contains details of the upcoming outdoor Christmas Market, reports from the local schools, the CE scheme, TidyTowns and other local groups and the Christmas ads from local businesses

The November issue features photos from the Scarecrows on the Green and Pumpkins on the Bridge in Sneem over Halloween. There are reports from Sneem Development and TidyTowns, Tahilla CNS and Sneem Digital Hub as well as local business contacts.

The October issue of the Sneem Community Notice Board features reports from St. Michael’s National School, local confirmations, the 15th Kerry Sneem Scout Group, how to get your flu vaccine, the upcoming Sneem Resource Centre AGM and plans for our 5th Scarecrows on the Green at Halloween.

After a short but busy tourism season, Sneem is delighted to see the reopening of our two local primary schools and preschool and creche, details inside with a welcome increase in new students. There’s also an update on the increasingly successful Sneem Digital Hub resulting from people working from home and when visiting Sneem. There’s a synopsis of the inaugural Sneem Story House meeting and and the winners of Sneem Tidytowns Blooms for the Bees competition are announced.

The July issue of the Sneem Community Notice Board features kids from the recent Sneem Cúl Camp and the IRCC Air Ambulance which recently attended a medical emergency in Sneem on the front page. Inside are updates from local groups, including plans for a new Wildlife Garden and Community Orchard from Sneem TidyTowns. The success of Sneem Digital Hub is an unexpected result of Covid 19 with lots of people now working remotely.

The June issue of the Sneem Community Notice Board features all the local businesses reopening in Sneem after prolonged shutdown due to the Covid 19 epidemic. There’s an update on the situation with the public health nurse and tips for planting pollinator friendly plants for Sneem TidyTowns Blooms for Bees Competition which is running this summer.
