Hilary’s shop is an institution in Sneem, where you can buy everything from goat’s yoghurt to cattle feed, get paint mixed or choose the local farm eggs from behind the counter. You can do your weekly shop late into the evening, just don’t expect quick service, this is a shop where you stop and chat and catch up on local happenings.
Green Chair
Welsh woman, Sharon Evans settled in Sneem in 2011 and set up her upholstery business in the Old Dance Hall premises on the Killarney Road. She opened the Green Chair haberdashery and vintage gift shop in the South Square in July 2015 and continued her upholstery business onsite.

Caherdaniel native, Noel Donnelly provides motorised kayaking tours of Kenmare Bay. This is great fun for families and a great way of exploring the bay. Noel operates from both Sneem and Parknasilla Hotels and also provides sit-on kayaks. Kids go free!
