Brushwood Studios is the studio gallery of a family of talented artists: M A Muller, Jo-Anne Yelen, Pam Muller, and Diana Muller. The Muller family came from South Africa to settle in Sneem in the late 1970s. Their home and gallery overlooks Kenmare bay on the Kerry Way and visitors are always made welcome with tea or coffee while they browse the colourful paintings and batiks.
Welsh woman, Sharon Evans settled in Sneem in 2011 and set up her upholstery business in the Old Dance Hall premises on the Killarney Road. She opened the Green Chair haberdashery and vintage gift shop in the South Square in July 2015 and continued her upholstery business onsite.
In 2019, Sharon purchased The Corner House (formerly Erin Knitwear) and moved Green Chair across the Square. Continue reading “Green Chair”
