Sneem Community Notice Board Issue 166

SCNB Issue 166 features the Sneem/Derrynane U10s and U12s who travelled to Croke Park on 31st March to play in the U12 Blitz on the front cover.  There’s a report on the Sneem Spring Clean which took place on the 2nd and 3rd April.  There are details of the upcoming memorial to remember Kerry GAA legend John Egan which takes place in Reardon’s Bar in Cork city on Sunday 10th April.  There are photographs from the recent World and European Irish Dancing Championships held in Brighton and from the Tahilla Ladies Club Spring Dance.

Sneem Community Notice Board Issue 163 features Sneem/Derrynane gaelic football team who won against Moyvane and are now into the semi-finals which will take place in Knockaderry on 21st February.  Congratulations are also extended to the Templenoe team who won the All-Ireland Junior Football Championships in Croke Park.

Sneem Community Notice Board Issue 162 features the wedding of Grace Riney and John Damien O’Sullivan which took place in Rome on the front cover.  Conditions for use of the new walking track in the GAA field are laid out and annual renewal forms for the GAA lotto can be found on the back page. There is great news of 7 new jobs starting as a result of the efforts of the Sneem EC group along with other jobs available in the village.
