Green Chair
Welsh woman, Sharon Evans settled in Sneem in 2011 and set up her upholstery business in the Old Dance Hall premises on the Killarney Road. She opened the Green Chair haberdashery and vintage gift shop in the South Square in July 2015 and continued her upholstery business onsite.
In 2019, Sharon purchased The Corner House (formerly Erin Knitwear) and moved Green Chair across the Square. This fabulous shop offers a quirky selection of items to beautify your home (check out the brush shop down the back!). You can also find toys, flat caps, sheepswool slippers, art from local artists, feathery lampshades and lot more.
You can now order online from her lovely new website, where you will find Maileg mice, soft toys and accessories, Yoko slippers, Julia Clarke candles and much more.
Sharon is also championing local crafts which she stocks in her shop under the “Made in Sneem” label.
